Hello people, welcome to this week’s tatafo in the labour market. Like play, like play, we don reach one month for this our recruitment in Nigeria column.

GTB has sent invites for test and with what my friend told me, it is a (PLI) assessing logical, quantitative and verbal reasoning in 12 minutes on 50 questions. Na to double up oh. Here, speed is of essence as much as accuracy. Mbok, what is the difference between entry-level and graduate trainee in the banking sector? That thing nearly cause kasala for GTB discussion.

After much ado and quibbles by both Dragnet’s and Rainoil’s staff, they sent invites for a final interview at the firm’s headquarters. Expectedly, I was prepped by JarusHub assessment and interview coaching team and my people, the session at the headquarters was seamless! Behavioural questions left, right and centre and unsurprisingly, this is what JarusHub does very well. But wait oh, why Rainoil go ask me: if I could choose between singing and jumping forever, which would I opt for? Or how much golf balls will fill the interview room? Las las, expect results in a fortnight or less.

After all the doubting Thomases at Bode Thomas’ Road, Frigoglass has sent invites for interviews (Lagos, Warri and Abuja), call it the round 2 and you won’t be wrong. I was at one and the process was eventful. Lots of questions covering engineering (glass manufacturing & water treatment), chemistry (pH analysis) to staying in a hot room? Someone was even asked if the person has a place to reside around the factory. Lest I forget the question about where are my siblings? Be like say Frigoglass wants to employ my family members join oh.

PwC sent success and love letter mails to candidates for her tax apprenticeship program for which the next phase (tax technical assessment) will hold this Saturday. My issue is not with the invite but the test materials flying everywhere. Tax card this, ICAN tax study pack that and PwC’s tax app those! Ogini? After reading every material possible, the more I looked, the more I misunderstood. How much dem dey pay sef?

KPMG’s test go well. At least, the time I used in GMAT-ing did not waste. The current affairs were a bit tricky especially for me who is an information scavenger. But all in all, we bless Baba God. Expecting results before the weekend.

No be every time Tatafo go dey talk about jobs. Dragnet (someone is murmuring not again!) shortlisted candidates for the Agip Scholarship Program and participants are advised to read on every engineering material (across all disciplines to prevent stories that touch. Reservoir, refining etc.) you can lay your hands on. At least, if my job hunting does not click, na to do masters and japa. Thanks to Indiabix, some questions came out word for word, figure for figure and formula for formula.

If ExxonMobil can use it (Indiabix) for her civil and chemical engineering questions while Halliburton uses it for the general math section, why will not Agip not do same? Too much sense will not kill me.

Omo, EY sorry Dragnet has sent mails for locations to be chosen regarding EY’s test. Problem is: PwC’s tax apprenticeship technical holds same day. Dragnet’s Lagos’ venue no go pass JKK Centre at Illupeju while PwC is on the island. A friend even has a CFA exam sef. For this Lagos wey we dey, how man pikin go cope with the traffic? Chimo!!

Wait oh, na only 120 applicants Polaris Bank employ out of over 20, 000 applicants for her graduate trainee program? Guess who organised the recruitment process? D for?

Ejooo, what is holding NNPC from announcing the results? Mbok, do something before something do me. Na oil work I want no be senate presidency.
