DCT10092013: Say ‘thank you’

3

DAILY CAREER TIP: 10/09/2013

Sometimes, little things that we overlook can make huge difference in our career. One of such things is saying ‘thank you’, or simply ‘thanks’, anytime we receive something from another person, whether it is obligatory for the person to give you or he just did you a favour giving you. Truth is, everybody likes to be appreciated. Sometimes, when we request for something from a colleague and he supplies, we forget to thank the person.  Simply replying the email to acknowledge and thank the person presents you in good light in the sub-conscious of the sender. It doesn’t matter whether he is bound to give you that thing, anyway. Let’s form the habit of saying thank you.
