Can I gain admission into university without credit in English language?

Greetings to you ma/sir 

Please help me out with this: I am an Arts student back then in school, I made credit in all the subjects I offered excluding English where I had a pass, “E8” precisely.   

Is there any course I can study with the result? Can I Study in any university? I actually don’t want to re-seat for another WAEC. What is my fate?

Dear Uche,

We don’t think any serious university will offer you any course without credit in English language. Credit, at least C6, is required in every course in every decent school, even Polytechnics. It is even more critical for an Arts student.

Not having credit in English may also affect you in the future when you want to apply for jobs as most decent graduate jobs will require you to have credit in English.

It is advisable to rewrite SSCE or GCE or NECO to make at least C6 in English language.
