Application for MT Scholarships
In 2019, Dr. Michael Taiwo, a US-based Nigerian engineer, as a way of giving back to Nigeria where he was raised, instituted a support for Nigerians wishing to study in America and Canada.
The support
- Payment of registration fees for a number of candidates for GRE, GMAT, TOEFL and/or school admission application fees
- Mentoring
Seven applicants won the scholarship in the 2019 edition.
Eligibility
- The scholarship award is open to final year students in Universities in Nigeria as well as recent graduates (who graduated not earlier than 2014)
- Candidate must have graduated with a CGPA of 4.0 in a 5-point system (or equivalent CGPA if not based on a 5-point scale) or, in the case of final year students, have such CGPA as at end of the penultimate year.
