Globacom's recruitment process is not known to be the most rigorous - basic interview testing general knowledge and discipline- or field-based questions. One of the few big companies where recruits, no matter the level, get to have a chat with the Chairman before offer is made. The recruitment process from beginning to offer does not take much time and could be within 2 months.
Employees are decently remunerated. Employees also enjoy moderate benefits in kind like trainings, staff bus, recreational activities facilities etc. Of course, employees get free airtime to a limit.
Many ex-employees have complained about the structure of the company.
The job security is average, but the industry can be generally volatile.
Overall, Globacom is generally regarded as a decent place to work by Nigerian standard.
