Access Bank recruitment process is not so exacting. An aptitude test (GMAT as of this review) which assesses candidate's cognitive thoughts. An interview testing general knowledge, discipline- or field-based questions. The recruitment process from beginning to offer takes quite a while. The bank operates a bond system where new recruits are required to sign 2 year bond after training school. The bond essentially ensures the resources the company spent on training the new employees do not waste. This system sometimes draws wide criticism.
Employees are however decently remunerated, and one of the best in the banking (excluding investment banking) industry. Employees also enjoy moderate benefits in kind like trainings, maternity/paternity leave, bonuses etc.
The job security is average, but the industry can be generally volatile.
Overall, Access Bank is highly regarded as a decent place to work by Nigerian standard.
