Please I was given Agriculture to study in ABU Zaria, but I don’t like the course. Somebody advised that I should register for the course, and write JAMB again. Please what do you think I should do?

Ahmed

I agree with your adviser. Accept that course while you rewrite UME.

Please as a graduate of economics, what international professional courses/ certification do you advise on to do (apart from ACCA and CFA please) by international,mi mean courses that would be recognized outside Nigeria also.

Economics is not a professional course like Accountancy. It doesn’t have professional certification or courses. You can only go for Masters and Phd or take academic courses in branches of economics.

Good day sir, I am Kenneth Please my CGPA is 2.3 as at 300 level. Can I still come out with a 2.1 with the 2 semesters left for me to graduate?

Keneth

2.3 is quite far from 3.5, the starting point of 2.1, especially given the fact that it is cumulative if results over 6 semesters.   Depending on the units of the courses you will offer in the two semesters. It’s a tough one, I must tell you. Very slim chance if possible at all.

Please I want to study political science but my waec result passes was C6 in Mathematics, C6 English, C5 Civic Education, C6 Biology, C5 Animal Husbandry, B3 Government. Do you think I may by any chance use my result to study political science?

Olori

Yes, you result is perfect for Political Science.

I’m a Degree holder of B.A English and Literary Study. I’m planning to read more. I am pretty confused of what to do, whether to go for masters in English or go for Law (Ist degree). Please help me rate these two careers in terms of their job prospects in Nigeria and other countries.

Thanks in advance.

I’m inclined to telling you to find job with your B.A English.

Do graduates of Applied Chemistry or related science courses don’t have a place in shell? (Fallout from the article: HOW TO GET JOB IN SHELL)

Hadiza

They do. But the chance is low compared to graduate of engineering and other technical courses.

Hello I am Abraham. I want study Law, I made all my papers but I got D7 in Literature-in-English. Is there any university in Nigeria that will accept it?

Abraham

I don’t think so. Go and rewrite SSCE and pass Literature-in-English  if you must study Law.
