What could have been a quiet day in this nation ended yet again on a sad note as bombs planted by the usual suspects went off in the heart of the commercial city of Kano. This incident puts sour tastes in our mouths. The siege on the country by these unscrupulous agents of death does not appear going anytime soon. Or how else can one describe a situation where these elements continue to strike despite promises to ceasefire? Jarushub team think carrot and stick remain our best bet in stemming the tide of this ugly development. We do hope our governments will be more proactive in both regards. Nigerians are dying. We cannot continue to live under this siege.
