Although for very few another job come in within a short period of time, but for many it is always a long period of hardship and regrets. Despite the common saying nowadays that one should not quit a job until another job is available, it is sometimes necessary to let go a bad employer in order to start life afresh. But before you take such a decision, what yardstick are you using to determine that your employer is so bad that you can’t wait to secure another job before you quit?

What plans have you, after your resignation? do you just want to stay back home and keep sending out CV’s until you got called for another job, or you have something to engage in while job hunting?

What is the demand of your qualification in the labour market? Is your qualifications the type every frank, abu and ola has, or you posses some special skills that is in high demand in the market?

What plans have you concerning your expenses after resignation? Have you any arrangement for at least the next six months, or you are basing it on hopes?

These amongst others are questions that may be raised before such a “bold step” is taken to avoid a long time distress.

Always remember “In learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn”.
