HOW TO BECOME A POWER ENGINEER

Dear Jarus, I have been greatly touched by your blog which has helped me so much in my personal life. I’m a first class graduate of PHYSICS  from one of the federal universities and I’m hoping to go into power engineering.

I need your advice on the required steps to take in order to achieve my dream of being a power engineer.

Wasiu holds a first degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria and Msc in Sub Sea Engineering from University of Aberdeen, Scotland, where he finished with Distinction. He has worked in oil and gas engineering services industry in Nigeria and abroad for more than 6 years.

 Power Engineering is a field in electrical engineering – It deals with génération,  transmission and distribution of electricity. He will need to go do his M.Sc. in electrical engineering with specialization in power.
