As Jarushub continues to position itself to be the leading career and political blog in Nigeria, we have brought on board two of Nigeria’s most gifted youths, Michael Femi Taiwo and Sola Fagorusi, as columnists.

Michael writes bi-weekly under the caption FEMI TAIWO ON MONDAY, while Sola, under the column title FAGRO FLAYS, discusses topical issues every Wednesday.

Michael (lower picture), 29, holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, United States of America. He bagged his first degree in Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria , graduating with First Class honours. From 1994 to 2000, he was at Offa Grammar School, Offa, Kwara state, where he finished as best WAEC candidate in Kwara state.

He currently works in the United States for one of world’s biggest energy giants.

He writes on career, education, political economy and life in general.

Sola (top picture), popularly known as Fagro, or more recently, Kaduna boy, had his first degree at Obafemi Awolowo University and second degree at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He was a well known campus journalist in his days at Ife, moderating the ultra-hot Student Union presidential debates among other campus programmes. He has also been a writer for many years. Fagro, hugely talented with gift of gab, is a world-class debater that had started engaging in formal debates since secondary school days. He was a lead judge on the Intra-Faith Peace Youth TV Debate Project facilitated by Youngstars Foundation and the British High Commission. He contributes regularly to several blogs, including Kaduna Boy (www.kadunaboy.com) , his personal blog; and Youth Hub Africa (www.youthubafrica.org) , a youth-centric platform. He was also part of the select team of young Nigerians that engaged in a roundtable dialogue with Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, sometime in 2012.

Sola writes on topical issues ranging from politics to communication.

As Michael and Fagro make their debut in April, join us in welcoming two of Nigeria’s brightest minds as they serve us with the best of articles on Jarushub, Nigeria’s blog on the block.

Both join Suraj Oyewale, editor of Jarushub, who writes every Sunday under the title SURAJ ON SUNDAY.
