Do I need to be a graduate before starting ACCA?

Your team have advised me on this forum before, when I talked about switching from Animal Science to Accounting. You advised me to do ACCA. Can I enrol even now that I have yet to graduate due to this ASUU strike or not? Most of the places I’ve checked online are asking for a Degree Certificate. Can I also enrol for ICAN in substitute for ACCA, maybe when I am through, I’ll then enrol for ACCA.

You can actually register for ACCA or ICAN without being a graduate yet.
For ACCA, there are two routes: 1, there is a programme called Certified Accounting Technician (CAT). You write the papers, which are preliminary to ACCA proper, and then get exemption in 3 out of 14 ACCA subjects. You only need your WAEC/SSCE for this. There is another route called Mature Student Entry (MSE), if you are above 21 years.
Same thing for ICAN, you start from what is called Accounting Technician Scheme (ATS), which when you scale, you cross to intermediate (stage 2) in ICAN.
You are free to choose whichever route.

Yes, you can start ICAN ATS with your o’level result.
