Unilever's recruitment process is quite rigorous. An online test (mostly likely Kenexa) and game (which has a role to play in the recruitment process) to test cognitive thinking. Interview consists of basic interview testing general knowledge, as well as discipline- or field-based questions. The recruitment process from beginning to offer takes quite a while.
Employees are well remunerated, and one of the best in the FMCG industry. Employees also enjoy moderate benefits in kind like trainings,staff bus, paternity/maternity leave, company's products, recreational activities, facilities, bonuses, end-of-year allowances etc.
The job security is good, subject to performance. The company is not known for indiscriminate laying off.
