The Chief Executive Officer of Accenture Nigeria, Mr. Niyi Yusuf, Chief Executive Officer, Proshare Nigeria Limited, Mr. Olufemi Awoyemi, and former Editor of THISDAY Newspapers, Mr. Simon Kolawole, are some of the speakers as Jarushub.com, an online platform with focus on career and mentorship, gathers Nigerian youths for a one-day conference on career and mentorship.

Other speakers include the Head, Global Markets Sales at Stanbic IBTC Group, Mr. Akeem Oyewale, and an investment analyst, Mr. Obafemi Bamidele.

Jarushub.com is one of Nigeria’s leading online career portals that has continued to provide valuable information on career guidance for young Nigerians.

According to its founder, Mr. Suraj Oyewale, “The platform has continued to be an information mine for young Nigerians by providing useful and practicable tips for career success. We also interview successful professionals to tell their success stories so that the young ones can learn from them. With tens of thousands of visitors every month, Jarushub is gradually redefining information and experience sharing in Nigeria.” Oyewale further stated: “The idea of Jarushub.com was inspired by the realisation that many otherwise brilliant Nigerian youths were not able to realise their potentials due to mentorship and information gap. Jarushub seeks to plug this hole,” Oyewale stated further.

Among the topics lined up for discussion at the event are: Mentor: Why You Need One; Your First Job, Your Next Job, What You Need to Know;  Academic and Professional Qualifications: Balancing the Mix.

Kolawole is expected to deliver a straight from the heart address to participating young Nigerians at the event.

The conference holds on September 21, 2013 at Citilodge Hotel, Lekki, Lagos and participants are expected to register at the platform’s website (www.jarushub.com). Participation is absolutely free.

Good work you are doing Jarus, I wish I had this opportunity when I was younger. Used to be a party-goer and a jolly good fellow when I was in the University.
